Yoplanning is connected to the official API of the Fédération Française de Voile. An affiliated club or school sells licences straight from its booking module, knows right away who already holds one, and sees every participant's status before the boats go out.

It is a direct exchange between Yoplanning and the federation's API, covering four everyday tasks.
Pass FFVoile, Passeport Voile, Licence Club jeune, Licence Club adulte, and the two temporary licences, one day and four days.
You decide which ones to offer on each product. A holiday course does not call for the same licence as a regatta, and you set which licence goes with which activity. Prices remain the federation's own, published each year on its website.
Yoplanning queries the FFVoile database using four pieces of information: surname, first name, date of birth and gender.
When those four fields are filled in on the participant's record, the check runs on its own. When one is missing, it cannot run at all. That is why they need to be mandatory on your products: the setting takes two minutes and everything else depends on it.
The participant can also run the check themselves while booking, before buying anything. Nobody enjoys paying twice for the same licence in one year.
An FFVoile logo appears next to each participant's name, in the session detail, in participant management and in the participant list.
Expiry dates are taken into account automatically, which settles the familiar case of the annual licence that ran out on 31 December. The check that used to mean a phone call or a search in the federal portal now happens on the screen the front desk already has open.
Yoplanning also handles standalone licences, sold independently of any sign-up. That is the case for annual licences, and for regular sailors putting their paperwork in order at the start of the season.
After payment the customer receives two emails: the usual order confirmation, and a separate FFVoile email containing a link to a form. They fill in their personal details, and Yoplanning then sends the creation request to the federation.
The licence takes effect once that form is validated, not before. If the customer takes their time, your team can resend the link or complete the form directly from the back office.
Many people still do not know this: kiteboarding left the Fédération Française de Vol Libre for the FFVoile in 2017. An affiliated kite or wing school therefore falls under sailing, and the connection works exactly as it does for a dinghy club or a watersports centre.

The connection itself costs nothing. It comes with Yoplanning.
It does require an account that takes payments online, so a paid plan: selling a licence means collecting money. Creating your account and setting up your schedules stays free, and the detail is on the pricing page.
The same connection serves both. A non-profit club handles memberships, annual licences and a long season. A commercial school sells day activities and invoices with VAT.
Both models live side by side in Yoplanning, including when the same team runs the association in the morning and the taxable business in the afternoon. See also software for sailing schools and clubs.
On the federation side. Your organisation has to authorise Yoplanning to act on its behalf. The FFVoile publishes the official procedure in its documentation for affiliated organisations.
On the Yoplanning side. Write to support@yoplanning.com with your FFVoile organisation ID. Our team switches the module on, and the FFVoile email template is created automatically. What remains is creating your licences as resources, adding them as options on the relevant products, and making the four identity fields mandatory.
The detailed documentation is public on docs.yoplanning.support, and our team walks you through the first setup.
· Do licences still have to be re-entered in the federal portal?
No, that is what the connection removes. You enter the participant once, in Yoplanning.
· What if the sailor already holds a licence with another club?
Yoplanning sees it before you sell anything. A club member coming to spend a week with you does not need a second licence.
· What happens if the customer never fills in the form?
The licence is not created. Your team can resend the link or complete the form from the back office.
· Why does the badge stay orange?
Three possible causes: one of the four identity fields is empty, the licence has expired, or the spelling does not match the federal record exactly.
· Does this apply to a wing foil school?
Yes, on the same basis as a kite school, since the 2017 transfer.
